General Questions

What is Droid Rooter and what do you actually do?

Droid Rooter is a remote Android IT support service. We fix Android problems — rooting, FRP bypass, custom ROMs, bootloop recovery, data recovery, performance repair and more — entirely over the internet through WhatsApp, Telegram and remote screen-share tools like AnyDesk and TeamViewer. Your phone never leaves your hands.

How does remote Android repair actually work?

You message us with the problem. We give a free diagnosis and a written quote. If you accept, we either guide you over chat, work via screen-share, or use file-based methods for locked devices. Most jobs are done in 1–24 hours. You watch the entire process and only pay after the fix is verified.

Is it safe to give a stranger remote access to my phone?

Yes — within the limits of the tools used. AnyDesk and TeamViewer use AES-256 encrypted tunnels, you grant access manually, you can disconnect at any time, and you see every action live on your screen. We never ask for passwords or full account credentials, and we never store device data after the session.

Which countries do you serve?

Do you handle both Android phones and tablets?

Yes. Phones, tablets, Android TV boxes, MIUI/EMUI/ColorOS/OneUI variants — any Android-based device with a known chipset and bootloader interface is fair game. We have worked on Samsung Galaxy Tab, Lenovo tablets, Xiaomi Pads and even Amazon Fire devices.

Rooting & Modifications

Will rooting damage my phone or void my warranty?

Rooting itself does not physically damage the phone — done correctly with the right Magisk patch and a verified boot image, it is fully reversible. It does usually trip the bootloader-unlock flag (Knox on Samsung, for example), which voids the manufacturer warranty. We always disclose this before starting.

Can I unroot later if I do not like it?

In most cases, yes. We provide a full backup of the original boot.img and a guide to flash it back via Fastboot or Odin. For Samsung devices, Knox cannot be re-armed once tripped, but functional unroot is straightforward.

Does rooting break apps like banking, Google Pay or Netflix?

It can, because of SafetyNet / Play Integrity checks. We install Magisk with the recommended modules (Zygisk, DenyList, Shamiko) and configure them so banking apps, Google Wallet, Netflix HD and Pokemon Go continue to work in the vast majority of cases.

Do you install custom ROMs like LineageOS or Pixel Experience?

Yes. We install LineageOS, Pixel Experience, crDroid, EvolutionX and other major AOSP-based ROMs on supported devices. We always verify ROM compatibility, working features and battery behaviour before recommending a specific build for your phone.

Can you unlock the bootloader on Xiaomi, OnePlus, OPPO and Realme phones?

Yes — Xiaomi (with the Mi Unlock waiting period), OnePlus (Fastboot), and most OPPO / Realme devices through their official tools or community methods. Some recent OPPO and Vivo devices have locked-down bootloaders; we will tell you up front whether yours is unlockable.

FRP Bypass & Account Recovery

I forgot the Google account on my Samsung after a factory reset. Can you help?

Yes — this is the classic FRP (Factory Reset Protection) lock. We use brand-specific bypass methods for Samsung, Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo, Honor, Huawei, Realme, OnePlus and Pixel devices. Most cases are resolved within 1–2 hours without losing any data already on the device.

Is FRP bypass legal?

Yes, when you own the device or have explicit permission from the owner. We always verify ownership through purchase receipts, original packaging, or device-on-account confirmation before starting any FRP work. We do not service stolen devices.

Can you remove a Mi Account, Honor ID or Knox lock?

Mi Account removal is supported on most Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO devices. Honor ID removal is possible on most pre-2023 Honor devices. Samsung Knox lock removal is more restrictive and depends on the model and firmware version — we will confirm feasibility during diagnosis.

Will FRP bypass wipe my data?

In most cases the device is already wiped (which is why FRP triggered). The bypass itself does not wipe; it removes the Google verification gate so you can sign in with a new account and start fresh.

Performance & Repair

My phone is slow and lags. Can a software fix really help?

Yes, in most cases. Lag usually comes from bloatware, runaway background services, an overloaded launcher, accumulated cache or a buggy update. We profile what is actually consuming CPU and RAM, then debloat, tune and clean — without a factory reset. Customers regularly see 30–50% faster app launch times.

My battery dies in 4 hours. Can you fix that without replacing it?

Often, yes. We isolate apps that are draining wakelocks, fix bad doze behaviour, calibrate battery stats, disable bloat, and tune the kernel governor on rooted devices. If the battery is genuinely degraded (>500 cycles, swollen), we will tell you to replace the cell — software cannot fix dead lithium.

Can you fix a phone that overheats while charging or gaming?

Most overheating is caused by background services, a stuck radio, a broken thermal config, or a misbehaving custom ROM. We profile and patch the thermal-engine config, fix runaway services and tune charging speed. Hardware overheating (damaged battery, bad solder) requires physical repair.

My phone keeps rebooting or freezing randomly. Can you diagnose remotely?

Yes. We pull dmesg / kmsg / last_kmsg logs, analyse crash signatures, and identify whether the cause is software (bad app, kernel panic, corrupted partition) or hardware (memory, eMMC, motherboard). We have repaired hundreds of random-reboot cases without any physical access.

Data Recovery

Can you recover photos and videos I deleted weeks ago?

Often yes, especially if the storage area has not been heavily overwritten. Success depends on whether the phone was rooted, whether trim was active, and how much you used the device after deletion. We give an honest probability after a free diagnostic scan.

My phone is bricked / will not boot. Can you still recover the data?

In many cases, yes. We use EDL mode (Qualcomm), Mediatek Bootrom, Exynos Download Mode and brand-specific service modes to image the userdata partition. From the image we extract photos, contacts, WhatsApp DBs, messages and documents — even when Android itself will not start.

Do you recover WhatsApp chats and other app data?

Yes — WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Viber, Instagram DMs, Snapchat caches, Notes, Calendar, contacts and call logs. WhatsApp recovery success depends on whether msgstore.db.crypt14/15 is intact and whether you have the matching key file.

It depends on the job. FRP bypass is usually the cheapest tier; bootloop recovery, data recovery from a bricked device, and IMEI repair sit at the higher tier. Every quote is given in writing before any work starts, and you only pay once the fix is verified.

How does pay-after-fix work? What if you cannot solve it?

You pay nothing upfront. We diagnose for free, give a written quote, and only invoice once the fix is verified working on your device. If we cannot solve it, you owe nothing — no diagnostic fee, no consultation fee, no exceptions.

Which payment methods do you accept?
