My OnePlus is stuck in fastboot or shows "fastboot system error". What now?
This usually means a failed flash or a bad slot. We boot into fastboot, switch the active slot ("fastboot --set-active=other") to the previous good system, and if needed re-flash a clean OxygenOS package via "fastboot flashall". Hard-bricked OnePlus devices (no fastboot, no recovery) are recoverable via MSM Tool on most older models. Most cases are finished in 60–90 minutes.
Can I install LineageOS or Pixel Experience on my OnePlus?

How do I change my T-Mobile or Verizon OnePlus to use Global firmware?
Carrier-locked OnePlus phones can usually be cross-flashed to Global OxygenOS once the bootloader is unlocked (T-Mobile US is the exception — it ships with permanent bootloader lock). We flash the matching Global firmware, fix IMEI if it gets cleared during flash, and configure VoLTE/VoWiFi for your local carrier. Cross-flashing voids carrier warranty but does not affect device function.
